Let's get back to work
Well holidays are already finished. I had 3 weeks off and now it's time to open the door of my office. Well the first step is certainly the most difficult, but once you're in, it is as if you did not even have holidays.
Erfff...

yeah, i feel exactly the same after holidays. it's a bit depressing, i'd prefer to float a few days in some form of euphoria, but that definitively doesn't happen. i suppose everyone has the same feeling, even after weeks of holidays.
great picture of your office, by the way. i'd like to see a high res version of it...

Well I this may be a kind of universal feeling, except for people who prefer their work to their holidays, but the real question is: do those people really exist?
As for this picture, I'll send you one by mail right now.
I'm not sure to dare to say that, but yes, I'm a kind of these imaginary people you are talking about. I like holidays but when there are finished, I'm glad to go back to work probably because I love my job and I can do all I want there.
In fact, even when I take only a few days of holiday, I feel like if I was in holiday for 3 weeks, so I'm always relaxed...
Sorry to disappoint you guys :oP
Well GrumZ, you may be part of those 0.00001 % or people who enjoy more their work than their holidays. Well this is not exactly true, but I like this shortcut anyway :)
As for your work, do you work as a system admin or network admin juste like you did at Accelance?
At Accelance, I was a system admin and then a linux developer. And now, I'm a system admin. I've never been a real network admin since I've quite never administrated any router nor another kind of network device. Frip is one of them.
kay GrumZ thanks for the info :)
For some reason your keyboard looked like a typewriter to me at first glance. I thought this was a picture of an office in the 50's... until I looked closer, of course.
Maybe you thought this because the picture has been taken with my 45 years old camera.
And the scanner in foreground may have lead your brain to think it was a "fat" keyboard who knows :)
Welcome back Jonathan!
