What should I do?
Well the Canon camera I was talking about in a previous post almost works perfectly. The body itself does not appear to be light-proof, so on some pictures there is a large red / orange mark in the middle of the picture. This is quite annoying since I don't really know what I can do about that, but I'll try to make the body more hermetic. However, I managed to get some satisfying pictures yesterday and what you see in the image below is a sneak peak of the film I got developed (that I hope to scan & upload to annecypix very soon). Then you notice that the title of this post has absolutely nothing to do with photography and you're right!
Today I had lunch at my parents'. I saw a niece and an uncle of mine, it was a very pleasant moment. Particularily pleasant since I knew I did not have to get back to work afterwards. I'm lucky enough to be able to choose when I want to work or not. Oh don't think I really work when I want, but at least I can quite freely choose whenever I want one or two days or even one week off. This is definitely the most neat feature of my job. Plus the fact that I only have to walk one minute from home to get there. It's such a pity it is so damn boring!
When I think that some people spend up to 3 hours in common transportation, or in their car. I am not sure I would accept such sacrifice! This sounds so weird. Let's imagine you spend 3 hours per day in transportation. 3 x 5 x 4 = 60 hours in a month! For me this is nonsense, but surely because I never needed to spend that time in a car, or train.
So now, what should I do? Be happy with my life and try to convince myself that "This is the best for you" or try to find a more stimulating job?
Bleh, this is not the right season to think about that. Winter is almost here, and ski resorts open at the beginning of december, so let's consider such serious thoughts should be deferred to may, 2006.
Yeah, let's do that.

colorful pictures that give a great illustration of fall... very warm tones!
as for your job, i'd say, consider with fair what is nice about it, what you dislike, and ask yourself whether you're ready to spend more time in this place. if not, provide yourself whatever you think you need to apply for a new job, but keep in mind that it might become harder for you to enjoy biking, swimming and skiing all in one place...
ciao
I really like some of the pictures you took with the new camera, I was lucky enough to see all of them! :)
For your job, well.... You should really try to get some satisfaction out of it, if possible. If not, start searching another one. Good luck!
dictoon: Well I think I'm ready to spend one more winter here, I'll search for something like when srping comes.
ramo: thanks for your comment about the pictures. I really appreciate it. As for my job, I have satisfaction from it especially with the free time I get. But not with the job itself.
