Blah Spywares... freakin' stupid piece of software made to:
1. make some people earn cash
2. get you mad

This morning, I spent some hours finding the right way to get rid of that CoolWWWsearch.Leftovers thing. It appears that the best method I found against it was by using HijackThis and scanning my computer. Then I analysed the logfile generated on a webpage and removed annoying entries using Hijackthis again.

The method seems to be quite efficient, and I thought I should share it here. Of course, this does not restrict to CoolWWWsearch.

Get Hijackthis 1.99.1 (latest version)
Analyse your logs here and remove bad entries with HijackThis

Get Spyware Doctor also, seems to be quite a good ad-aware or Spybot like.

Well holidays are already finished. I had 3 weeks off and now it's time to open the door of my office. Well the first step is certainly the most difficult, but once you're in, it is as if you did not even have holidays.
